Mungo Homes Completes Pavilion at MES

Mungo Homes celebrated the completion of the new pavilion at McAllister Elementary School’s playground with teachers and students earlier this month. “Ask and you never know, you just may receive!” says Bivins Miller, Principal of McAllister Elementary School. The pavilion will provide much-needed shade to teachers and students during recess and other outside learning ventures.

With the help of local partners in construction, Mungo Homes drew a plan that utilized similar design features as the school, and with the approval of the Board of Education, began construction in early November. The teachers and staff are thrilled to have not only shade, but opportunity for so much more. Randy Bocook, a local real estate agent, has graciously agreed to purchase picnic tables and chairs to be used underneath the pavilion.

“Community is defined by partnerships such as this,” says Paige Glazer, publisher of Richmond Hill Reflections magazine. “When a good friend and Kindergarten teacher, Katie Cowart asked me if I knew anyone in the community who might help with this idea, I wasn’t expecting it to be quite as easy as it was. Sometimes, the right ideas are tossed to the right people!”

Our community rocks!
