Mrs. Taft’s ELA classes are participating in debates today and tomorrow as a way to practice their argumentative analysis skills.

Bryan County Schools continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 coronavirus situation and is actively following guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Georgia Department of Public Health, and the Georgia Department of Education. In addition, the District maintains a standard operating procedure and is prepared to respond as necessary. Students in Mr. Cooper and Ms. Cox's classes participate in Witzzle Pro, a mental math game where the students roll a dice, draw a card, and compete to mentally compute the number they rolled using the numbers on the card drawn. There is a grand champion winner every day for a month. On Friday, students participated in a championship round, and Ava Laguna-O'Neil was the winner! #WildcatMath #WildcatsWin

Students reviewed for their math test through math “speed dating”. Students solved word problems in pairs, checked each other’s answers, and helped find errors where needed. After 2 minutes, Students on the inside circle rotated to a new partner. #WildcatMath #WildcatsWin
